We all love Summit. Our community is filled with kind, compassionate, intelligent and successful people. In a city of nearly 22,000 residents, it's a matter of fact that we're not all going to agree on everything all the time. If you're like us, you think that "reasonable minds can disagree." Unfortunately, there are some not-so-reasonable minds in our public square (at Council meetings and in certain Facebook groups) that seem to suck up all the oxygen on every issue, even creating issues where there are none.
If you'd like to decide for yourself about local issues using a shared set of facts; if you think that our elected officials deserve some semblance of respect for all the time and effort they volunteer to make our fabulous little city one of the best in which to live in New Jersey; if you want to see Summit become neighborly again, then you've come to the right place.
We'll be sharing information about local issues via meeting clips, local news articles and letters to the editor you may have missed that help explain what's actually going on outside all the spin.
Welcome. We're glad you're here.
